Marmalade:
Dark Space, Chee Li Lian
‘While there may be inclinations to immediately label this space ‘minimalist’ or ‘zen-like’, those are perhaps not quite accurate, and even detract from the richness of intentions imagined by the design. For me, the scene is akin to an old-fashioned film noir, those black-and white classics when silence filled in for places where sound was inadequate.’
